16th March Update

Hi everyone,

 

Thanks for everyone who attended Jane’s farewell on Friday.  It was great to see many of you there and it was good to meet a few new faces.  There were some great speeches and I know that Jane felt it was a great event.

We are making some great progress this year and have recently appointed a group financial controller.  Cliff Veerbeek has worked with Habit for a number of years as a subcontractor and will now be making a regular appearance within the Wellington office.  This immediately frees up time for Justin and Ivan to be spending on operational improvements and acquisition activity in line with our strategy.

We will be holding our first Clinical Services Management meeting next week.  This will bring our teams together across all issues and will ensure we all have everything we need to do our jobs to a ‘best practice’ standard. We will keep you all informed as we progress through the process of developing service champions and our coordinated marketing/communications plan.

The OK Health website refresh is getting to end stage design now so we will be getting started on the QRS refresh next.   These will be built and go live in the coming weeks.

We have a few staff vacancies at present and we want to ensure that we offer internal promotion and or relocation opportunities whenever these arise.  At present we have to following advertised:

 

  • OT Northland – Voc and Pain assessor
     
  • OT Hamilton – Voc and Pain Assessor
     
  • Physio Hamilton – South Waikato region as a community OT, delivering our occupational health and pain management services.
     
  • OT Palmerston North – Immediate start to work within the region as a community OT, delivering our occupational health and pain management services.
     
  • Physiotherapist Wellington – Staff or senior position available for an immediate start
